Once a month, HOPE (a NGO setup by a group of young Tibetans) visit Jampaling Elders' Home at McLeod Ganj, India. Many foreign volunteers join this weekend event too. The old folk there always welcome this event which is full of food, game, joy and companionship. Picture taken in Nov, 2008.

I too visited in November 2013 and wished I could have stayed longer. I would love to come back to visit and learn more about the Tibetan Elders. Bet they could teach me a thing or two!!!

I am glad that you like the picture, and had such a wonderful experience in McLeod Ganj. I was there for 1 month, in Nov/Dec 2008, and of course, I wish to stay longer too. Heather and Glenys, do both of you know each other?
Anyway, if you enjoy photos from India, you can check out my album of India in FB. I took so many photos, but I only shared these... still lots of untold stories. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.224549247568740.67094.116134235076909&type=1&l=755fbef06e
